What the Job Involves
The role involves the strategic and operational management of Public Protection services, ensuring effective and customer-focused service delivery aligned with divisional and corporate policies. You provide direct support to the Assistant Director, deputizing when necessary and assuming responsibility for managing the division. Your responsibilities encompass preparing service programs, managing budgets, executing statutory functions, and ensuring service quality. You will lead cross-divisional initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships, and attend council committees, with an emphasis on maintaining a one Council ethos.
