Who You Are
Bromley Adult Social Care is seeking a highly talented and ambitious registered Social Worker to join our team. You are flexible, committed, and hard-working, with excellent negotiating skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships with partner agencies. A Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) is essential and you must hold registration with Social Work England. You have relevant experience of working with adults in community and/or hospital settings and are eager to work within a multidisciplinary framework. You are ready to support our transformation journey and contribute to improving outcomes for our community.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker in Bromley's Adult Social Care Services, you will promote and maintain independence for vulnerable adults using a strengths-based approach. You will protect adults at risk through safeguarding procedures, assess needs in line with the Care Act (2014), and formulate person-centred care and support plans with service users and carers. You will monitor, review, and evaluate services, participate in multi-disciplinary and inter-agency meetings, and coordinate case conferences. You will need to manage records in accordance with council policy and respond to complaints and new legislation as required.
