Who You Are
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience (at least 3 years) in managing child protection enquiries and facilitating meetings. You are an excellent communicator with exceptional organizational skills. You possess a strong understanding of performance management and demonstrate the ability and willingness to collaborate with partners and support practice improvement within the service. You thrive in hybrid working environments, being in the office on duty weeks and two days a week during other times.
What the Job Involves
In this role within the Duty Service, you will support the team manager in the operational management of a duty team. You will be involved in responding to safeguarding children, children in need, and managing team performance. You will mentor and support staff, manage complex casework, and chair and facilitate important meetings, including strategy meetings. You will work closely with the MASH to undertake children and family assessments, develop support plans, and identify levels of need, ensuring children's care planning needs are met efficiently.
