Who You Are

We are seeking three locum social workers with experience in mental health and/or older adults. Ideally, you will have post-qualifying experience and a strong understanding of care coordination, CPA, risk assessment, and mental disorders. You should have experience working effectively with other agencies and professions and in partnership with service users and carers. The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team in one of Bromley's integrated health and social care teams. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to improving practice standards through continuous professional development.

What the Job Involves

Your main responsibilities will include assessing the needs of individuals with acute, complex, or enduring mental health problems, along with their carers. You will work collaboratively with service users and carers to develop and implement care plans, evaluate services, and ensure the welfare benefit entitlements are identified and met. The job involves contributing to safeguarding investigations and working across the Bromley Borough and beyond if necessary. You will also participate in the AMHP borough-wide rota and provide professional advice to less experienced staff.

Skills
