Who You Are
You are an experienced professional with a strong background in safeguarding, dedicated to supporting families with complex needs. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with families and partners to deliver effective interventions.
What the Job Involves
The role requires coordinating and delivering multi-agency interventions based on whole-family Early Help Assessments and action plans. You will work closely with families to achieve positive outcomes, aiming to reduce the need for crisis intervention services. Your responsibilities include conducting home visits, organizing Team Around the Family Meetings, and providing direct support to children and young people.
Skills
- Excellent safeguarding experience
- Proficient in completing Early Help Assessments
- Ability to organize Team Around the Family Meetings
- Skilled in creating and reviewing SMART plans with families
- Capability to work within timescales
- Experience with home visits and direct work with children and young people
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- DBS registered with the agency representing them
