What the Job Involves
As part of the Occupational Therapy Service, your role involves planning and monitoring tasks to achieve the business objectives of the occupational therapy team. You will supervise a group of Occupational Therapy Assistants to ensure effective service delivery. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments and re-assessments for individuals referred by the Assessment Service who encounter permanent, complex, or substantial disabilities. You will collaborate with service users, carers, and other professionals to compile and review Occupational Therapy support packages aimed at promoting user independence and documenting the outcomes.
