You are an experienced interim childcare lawyer solicitor with a practising certificate, ready to engage in a 6-month assignment focusing on care proceedings and family law matters. You are situated in or around North Yorkshire and are available to start within the next 4 weeks.
What the Job Involves
The role involves providing expert advice and representation in care proceedings, managing legal queries for the Children and Young People Services Directorate, conducting research to address complex legal issues, and collaborating with the legal team to ensure compliance with Law Society Professional Standards and Lexcel accreditation. The role is hybrid, based in County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, on Mondays and remote work for the rest of the week, overseeing the Harrogate area.
