What the Job Involves
You will be part of the Finance Team within the Resources Directorate, engaging in a hybrid working model that includes office and remote work. Your role involves providing comprehensive financial information, advice, and support to diverse customers such as budget managers, senior management, and external clients. You will work collaboratively to maintain financial standards and integrity within your assigned areas. Your duties include supporting budget managers with budget setting, monitoring, and financial accounts completion, delivering financial training to customers, and contributing to strategic projects. You will also promote the Finance Team's commercial agenda by supporting financially related processes and contributing towards the council’s commercial ventures.
