Who You Are
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to support the Business Support Team within our Families First Service. You have a strong sense of confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive information. You are self-motivated and can work independently, as well as being part of a team. You possess essential qualifications such as GCSE Grade A*-C (9-4) or equivalent in Maths and English, with a willingness to undertake further learning and development as required.
What the Job Involves
The primary purpose of the role is to undertake a range of generic clerical work and front-facing tasks, providing administrative support across departmental activities. You will act as the first point of contact for clients, handle manual and computerised information, and process financial transactions. Key activities include answering telephones, staffing reception, booking meetings, taking notes, and handling petty cash accounts. You may also support specific service areas and perform sensitive tasks with accuracy and confidentiality. The work schedule is 8am-8pm, with the flexibility to cover later shifts.
