You are an experienced customer service professional with a background in contact centers and basic business administration. You excel in handling a variety of resident inquiries and can manage complex communications both via phone and email. You are looking for a role that allows you flexibility after the initial training period, and you have or can quickly gain local knowledge of the Sutton area.
What the Job Involves
The role involves working within Sutton Council's Customer Experience Contact Centre for a minimum 6-month placement. Your primary responsibilities include dealing with a wide range of resident inquiries related to services offered by the local authority, such as Waste Services, Homelessness, and Highways. You will manage communications in a professional and timely manner, and will initially be required to work in the office during the training period, with the possibility of hybrid work once competent. Immediate start and in-person interviews at the Civic Offices are required.
