Who You Are
You are an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting individuals to live independently in their community. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
What the job involves
In this role, you will assess and make recommendations for customers 18 and over with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or physical frailty to help them maintain independence. You will conduct manual handling assessments and recommend necessary equipment and adaptations. Your responsibilities include working with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to enhance living conditions, and you will manage your time effectively to prioritize and respond to competing demands. There is also an opportunity to contribute to project work aimed at reducing the OT waiting list.
