Who You Are

You are an experienced professional possessing a strong background in overseeing electrical works and ensuring quality control and compliance in a Social Housing environment. You have proficient knowledge of domestic electrical installations, fire alarm systems, and relevant regulations and standards. You are skilled in communication and able to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.

What the Job Involves

This role involves conducting detailed electrical inspections and condition surveys, monitoring contractor work quality, creating reports, and ensuring high levels of service delivery. You will work closely with contractors to ensure specs are met, handle site issues, and manage snagging and remedial actions. The role is office-based with site visits to ensure certification compliance, with potential for some work from home subject to your line manager's approval after your probation period.

• Proficient in producing reports and progress evaluations
• In-depth knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition and domestic fire alarm systems
• Experience in electrical inspections and testing
