What the job involves
As a SENDSTART Caseworker, you will support the council in fulfilling its statutory duties under the Children & Families Act 2014 by coordinating and enhancing the quality of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will serve as the main contact for families during the assessment process, working closely with schools and service providers across sectors. Your role involves facilitating reviews of existing EHCPs, preparing documentation for tribunals, and ensuring all processes comply with relevant legislation and timelines. Statistical analysis for decision-making, performance management, and compliance with statutory guidelines are key components of this role.
