As a Chartered Engineer or a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, you have extensive experience managing medium to large engineering projects, particularly in building services.

What the Job Involves

As a Mechanical Engineer in the Housing Property Services department, you will provide professional mechanical engineering services for new mechanical systems, including design, specification, inspection, and project management. You will oversee contractors and consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on budget, to specification, and with high standards. You are expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, represent the Senior Mechanical Engineer, and uphold compliance with legal and regulatory standards. You will also support council initiatives and embrace the promotion of equality and diversity in the workplace.
