What the Job Involves
As a 0-18 Family Support Worker, you will work as part of the Family First Service team to deliver targeted, tiered, and coordinated interventions to families with diverse, intersecting needs, including parenting skills, emotional wellness, and self-esteem. You will provide practical support and guidance to both children and parents, addressing issues such as school attendance, behavior management, and more. In addition, you'll deliver individual and group-based interventions to move families forward, enhancing their ability to create positive change for themselves. Your duties will involve hands-on family engagement, risk assessment and management, support plan development, safeguarding, and personal learning and development to improve service delivery.
