Who You Are
You are a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, experienced in adult safeguarding and complex casework. You possess a strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, MCA 2005, DoLS, and safeguarding procedures. You have an ability to manage competing priorities, maintain detailed case records, and meet statutory deadlines. Your communication skills are strong both in oral and written forms, and you thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment.
What the Job Involves
Your role involves undertaking statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 with a focus on safeguarding adults at risk of abuse or neglect. You will lead safeguarding concerns and enquiries, coordinate multi-agency responses, and apply professional judgment in complex cases. Key responsibilities include safeguarding practice, legal and statutory duties, multi-agency working, case management and recording, and professional development and supervision.
This role requires you to work under a hybrid model, which includes remote working, home visits, and mandatory office-based duties three days a week.
Skills
- Qualified Social Worker with current registration
- Experience in adult safeguarding
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding legislation and procedures

- Experience in court work and risk assessment (desirable)
