What the Job Involves
This role involves integrating safeguarding responsibilities with independent oversight of care planning for children in care. The tasks include chairing Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews, providing expert guidance to social workers and professionals, and promoting active participation from children and young people. You will ensure that statutory responsibilities are met while focusing on improving outcomes. The role also includes quality assurance, promoting professional development, contributing to service developments, and ensuring effective resource management.
