What the Job Involves

This role requires you to act as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) within the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) for Adult Social Care. You will perform statutory functions under various legislative frameworks such as the Mental Health Act, contributing towards prevention, risk management, and person-centered care. Responsibilities include carrying out risk assessments, managing emergency situations, collaborating with multi-agency teams, and providing expert advice. You are expected to uphold diversity, ensure compliance with legal standards, and engage in continuous professional development.
