Who You Are
You are a qualified and experienced Social Worker with at least two years of post-qualification experience in statutory Adult's Social Care services. You are a knowledgeable practitioner recognized by peers for your expertise in social work intervention theories and models. You have the ability to manage complex caseloads and are committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for vulnerable people.
What the Job Involves
Your role involves contributing to the effective operation of the Vulnerable People Service. You will manage complex and varied caseloads, conduct thorough assessments, and develop support plans to address the needs of vulnerable individuals. Your responsibilities include safeguarding investigations, negotiating care arrangements, and collaborating with multi-agency teams. You will also represent the department in multidisciplinary forums, oversee student placements, and uphold data protection and confidentiality principles.
