Who You Are
You are an experienced social worker with significant experience working with children and families. You possess specialist knowledge of social work theories and practices to achieve positive outcomes for children. Your interpersonal and communication skills are excellent, and you are capable of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You hold a professional qualification in social work and have current Social Work England registration.
What the Job Involves
Your role involves working in partnership with children and families to address social, emotional, and environmental needs. You will assess risks and needs for vulnerable children, coordinate services for improved quality of life, assess the well-being and safety of children, and represent the Authority in court when needed. Responsibilities also include creating multi-agency plans, maintaining accurate records, and participating in supervision and training programs. The job covers the area of Evesham and South Worcestershire with potential travel to other regions within or outside the county.
