Who You Are
You are a highly skilled Mechanical Inspector with a strong background in building services and engineering. You possess detailed technical knowledge in areas such as mechanical installations, gas installation works, heat networks and communal heating systems. An ideal candidate would have a Higher National Certificate in building services, engineering, or equivalent qualification, with practical experience or have completed a recognized apprenticeship or training program. What the Job Involves
Your primary function will be to provide professional support to the engineering service by inspecting mechanical installations to ensure compliance and quality. You will be responsible for supervising contractors and external consultants, maintaining detailed site records, assisting in project reports, ensuring onsite quality assurance, and providing technical advice on various aspects of mechanical works. You will also inspect engineering installations and equipment, participate in briefing and liaising, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and council standards.
