Who You Are
We are seeking experienced social workers with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualified experience, particularly in Safeguarding. Strong court skills and a proven track record in this area are essential. Candidates must be car drivers with access to a vehicle. We aim to recruit individuals who are enthusiastic about joining a supportive and motivated team within Liverpool Children's Services, contributing to improving outcomes for children and families.
What the Job Involves
Joining our team will involve working in a stable environment with a permanent team and management structure. You will receive regular reflective supervision from a supportive manager. The role includes handling court cases, collaborating with our Family Group Conference Service, and utilizing a variety of support services, including family support workers and Early Help Offer, to support children and families.
We offer an initial 3-month minimum contract, up to £42 per hour based on experience, a 35-hour work week, and a hybrid working model requiring 3 days in Liverpool per week. You will be provided with an ICT Kit and support, and have access to a comprehensive range of services aimed at assisting your work.
