Role

Who You Are

You are an experienced social worker with extensive knowledge in care proceedings, from attending court for Interim Court Orders to participating in Final Hearings. You have a strong background in managing complex cases and are trauma-informed, allowing you to work effectively with children under a child protection plan.

What the Job Involves

The job involves carrying out parenting assessments of parents and viability assessments of family members, writing care plans and final care plans, and visiting children in placements across the UK. You will be expected to handle complex cases and discuss examples of such cases during interviews. The role requires office presence during duty week (5 days every 7 weeks) and generally 3 days per week, with flexible working hours subject to prior agreement with the manager.
