What the job involves
As a Programme Manager, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive 5-year food strategy and a 1-year action plan to improve the local food system. You will coordinate and manage broader food-related programs, engage with cross-sector stakeholders, and oversee various food-related projects, ensuring alignment with the council's goals. Your role includes strategic leadership, partnership and stakeholder engagement, research, data analysis, and programme delivery. You will also provide management and leadership to your team and support the Healthy Environments and Communities team in wider public health priorities.
