Role
Who You Are
We’re looking for passionate individuals who:
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Have experience supporting young people aged 16-25
- Understand safeguarding, risk management, and child development
- Can work flexibly, including occasional evening work
- Are confident working across agencies and cultural contexts
- Have knowledge and experience in trauma informed practice
- Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle
What the Job Involves
- Provide holistic one-to-one support to care-experienced young people aged 16-25
- Build trusted relationships and offer tailored wellbeing support to address emotional, mental, and physical health needs
- Design and deliver wellbeing activities promoting self-esteem, resilience, and positive coping strategies
- Promote mental health awareness and support young people in managing their mental health
- Support transitions to independence and help young people develop life skills
- Act as an advocate for young people in multi-agency meetings
- Build community connections and link young people with local services and resources
- Monitor and record progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records
- Safeguard and respond to risk, working closely with social care and health professionals
- Contribute to service development, sharing insights and feedback
- Travel locally and nationally for face-to-face visits
