Who You Are

We’re looking for passionate individuals who:

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Have experience supporting young people aged 16-25
• Understand safeguarding, risk management, and child development
• Can work flexibly, including occasional evening work
• Are confident working across agencies and cultural contexts
• Have knowledge and experience in trauma informed practice
• Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle

What the Job Involves

• Provide holistic one-to-one support to care-experienced young people aged 16-25
• Build trusted relationships and offer tailored wellbeing support to address emotional, mental, and physical health needs
• Design and deliver wellbeing activities promoting self-esteem, resilience, and positive coping strategies
• Promote mental health awareness and support young people in managing their mental health
• Support transitions to independence and help young people develop life skills
• Act as an advocate for young people in multi-agency meetings
• Build community connections and link young people with local services and resources
• Monitor and record progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records
• Safeguard and respond to risk, working closely with social care and health professionals
• Contribute to service development, sharing insights and feedback
• Travel locally and nationally for face-to-face visits
