Who You Are
You hold a recognized social work qualification and are registered with Social Work England. You have a comprehensive understanding of current and proposed social services legislation, particularly relating to adults, and have completed the ASYE program. You are experienced in assessing social care needs, working with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing safeguarding legislation. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively with complex clients, and you are adept at managing high-demand caseloads independently.
What the Job Involves
You will work with individuals, their carers, and professionals to support and lead the reablement service by conducting assessments, setting goals, and planning support needs. Your role involves crisis management, providing advice, safeguarding, and ensuring data accuracy. Responsibilities also include interpreting and implementing policy, promoting independence, and supporting diverse communities. You will be working within multi-agency settings, assessing mental capacity, leading Best Interests meetings, and mentoring social work students. Additionally, you will engage in continuous professional development and may need to undertake flexible working hours to meet service needs.
