What the Job Involves
The role involves assisting the management team in delivering services while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. You will act as Shift Lead, managing activities, staff, and people supported by the Service. Key responsibilities include monitoring individuals, maintaining records, supporting management, and supervising external staff. You will communicate appropriately with stakeholders, manage expenditure requests, report issues, develop and review support plans, and uphold compliance standards, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring health and safety.
Skills
- Health and Social Care Qualification at level 2 or equivalent (level 3 desirable)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation & statutory requirements
- Understanding of person-centered care and community services
- Good communication skills
- IT literacy
- Ability to write reports and maintain records
- Ability to work with professionals, service users, families, and promote partnership
- Experience in the social care sector (private, voluntary, or charity desirable)
- Flexible approach to working hours and locations
- Health & Safety awareness, including handling chemicals and food safety
