What the Job Involves
As a Service Co-ordinator (Day Services), you assist the management team in delivering services and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and procedures. You act as a Shift Lead, managing activities, staff, and supporting individuals. Your role involves providing a person-centered response to service users and their families, monitoring individuals, maintaining records, and supporting the management team in forming joint working arrangements. You ensure the involvement of service users and their families in service design, manage external staff supervision, handle cash/card payments, and support people through person-centered planning. You ensure compliance with standards, report repairs, conduct reviews, develop support plans, and uphold safety and confidentiality.
Skills
- Health and Social Care Qualification (level 2 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory requirements
- Understanding of quality standards and requirements
- Person-centered care and support
- Good communication skills
- IT literate
- Ability to write reports and maintain records
- Experience in social care settings
