Who You Are
You are an experienced Advanced Practitioner with substantial post-qualifying experience in a statutory Children's Social Care setting. You excel in complex situations, maintain professional registration with the HCPC, and demonstrate a high level of understanding of the complexities of social work. You are autonomous and capable of mentoring less experienced social workers, while supporting the organization's development programs.
What the Job Involves
The role involves working within a Resilience framework to provide an integrated social work service. You will handle high-complexity cases and assess and manage risks. The role includes deputizing for your line manager and leading special projects as directed. Additionally, you will contribute to the Workforce Development Programme, assessing and supporting trainee social workers. This role requires maintaining case records, working closely with other agencies, and supporting Barnet Family Services vision through workshops and continuous learning opportunities.
