What the Job Involves
Your role as an Appeals and Representations Officer involves delivering a timely and effective service for the Parking and Network Management team and the wider council. You will investigate and respond to various parking-related correspondences, facilitate permit applications, and represent before London Tribunals. You will ensure compliance with statutory processes and council procedures, maintain high standards of customer service, mentor and train new staff, and manage trends and issues in correspondence. Additionally, you'll attend adjudication hearings and contribute to initiatives aligned with the council's climate change, air quality, and streets for people strategies.
