What the Job Involves

The role of the Southwark360 SAP S/4 HANA Lead Programme Planner involves overseeing the development and management of comprehensive project plans and establishing a programme-level plan. It ensures alignment across key areas of the SAP S/4 HANA implementation, assures stakeholders of the programme’s capacity to deliver the intended scale of transformation, and involves detailed analysis along with tactical and strategic planning.

The Planner acts as a liaison between stakeholders, monitors performance, and adjusts plans to ensure successful programme delivery. The position is hybrid, requiring three days at Southwark Council Headquarters, with potential for extended hours.

Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of Lead Programme planning experience
  • SAP S/4 HANA Implementation experience or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Planview, Adobe Workfront, Smartsheet
  • Experience leading planning activities across multiple projects
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Excellent written skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational skills; ability to manage priorities
  • High-level self-motivation and initiative
  • Flexibility to adapt and cope with ambiguity
  • Experience working remotely and forming strong relationships
  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Prince 2, MSP, or PMP certification is desirable
