Who You Are
You are a highly experienced fire risk assessor with extensive knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Approved Document B, and British Standards. You have a solid understanding of different construction methods and the application of both active and passive fire safety measures. You hold relevant qualifications such as RICS, RIBA, or NEBOSH certificates and are a member of professional bodies like IFE, IFSM, or CABE. You have experience in conducting fire risk assessments for various residential properties and several years of demonstrable residential FRA experience.
What the Job Involves
This role involves providing expert specialist fire safety leadership, managing fire risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. You will design, arrange, and oversee remedial actions for identified fire risks, provide cost analysis, and manage contractors. You will also be responsible for technical solutions, supporting investment teams, and delivering training on fire safety. The role requires liaising with external professional bodies and contributing to strategic fire safety policy and procedures. You will be working within the Fire Safety Team to deliver exceptional fire safety services to residents.
