Who You Are
You are a dedicated professional with experience in maintaining and managing parks and open spaces, ensuring they are attractive, clean, and safe. You possess driving and towing experience, and ideally, you hold various chainsaw operation and tree management qualifications. Your practical expertise in tree surgery is extensive, and you can comfortably interpret and apply relevant legislation and codes of practice.
What the Job Involves
As part of Enfield Council, you will collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, partners, and park users, to uphold the quality of parks and open spaces in the Borough. You will manage tree stocks across country and urban parks, requiring on-ground and aerial tree work. You may also need to conduct emergency tree operations and perform tree health evaluations.

- Cross-cutting and stacking timber (CS30.2)
- Felling small trees (CS31)
- Aerial rescue operations (CS38)
- Applying legislation and codes in tree management
- Full Driving Licence with C1 / C1E / BE entitlement
- Tree surgery experience
- Chainsaw use from rope and harness (CS39)
- Desirable: First aid, Stump Grinding, Wood Chipper, MEWP & Chainsaw operation, Street works, Pesticides Safety
