Who You Are
A dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and enhancing parks and open spaces within Enfield Borough. You have experience working collaboratively with council stakeholders and a commitment to ensuring safe and welcoming outdoor environments.
What the Job Involves
Your role will focus on maintaining a healthy tree stock across various parks and open spaces. This includes working closely with contractors, partners, and users to ensure that the spaces remain attractive, clean, and secure. You will be responsible for performing various tree surgery tasks and may be required to handle driving and towing responsibilities.
Skills
- Driving and towing experience
- Chainsaw maintenance (CS30.1)
- Cross-cutting and stacking timber (CS30.2)
- Felling and processing small trees (CS31)
- Aerial rescue (CS38)
- Understanding of tree management legislation
- Full Driving Licence with C1 / C1E / BE entitlement
- Tree surgery experience
- Use of chainsaw from a rope and harness (CS39)
- Desirable: First aid, stump grinding, wood chipper operations, MEWP & chainsaw use, street works, safe pesticide use
