Who You Are
We are seeking an arboricultural professional to join our thriving tree service. You have strong experience working in urban areas, particularly in conducting tree inspections and diagnosing tree defects/diseases. You are knowledgeable about tree legislation and proficient in using tree decay detection equipment. You possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to engage and understand the perspectives of various stakeholders, including Council officers, Councillors, Developers, Community groups, and the Public. You are a positive individual with personal drive and initiative, eager to learn and improve.
What the Job Involves
You will be part of a team of arboriculture officers leading the management and inspection of the Council’s tree stock. Your responsibilities include carrying out risk management, providing specialist arboricultural advice, issuing works to Contractors and the In-house tree service, and conducting financial management, general administration, member’s enquiries, and contract management.
