What the Job Involves
As a Housing Officer, you will manage a portfolio of temporary accommodations, ensuring they meet health, safety, and council standards. You will assist tenants with housing options and support them in securing permanent housing. Responsibilities include overseeing rental payments, conducting property inspections, resolving landlord-tenant disputes, and liaising with external bodies. You will also manage rent accounts and arrears recovery, respond to reports of anti-social behavior, and ensure excellent customer service standards for all client groups.
