What the Job Involves
As a Leadership Support Officer, your primary role is to provide administrative and secretarial support to senior officers and members, including the Mayor and Chief Executive. This involves managing diaries, handling correspondence, arranging meetings and events, and ensuring statutory and corporate deadlines are met. You will coordinate responses to inquiries and manage databases with highly sensitive information. You will also be expected to support the decision-making processes, cover for the Leadership Support Manager when necessary, and contribute to the development of colleagues in the team.
