Who You Are
You are a skilled Fire Safety Manager with extensive experience in the fire safety industry, holding a Level 4 Fire Safety Qualification and current FSA Tier 3 accreditation. You possess in-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, PAS 79, the Building Safety Act, the Fire Safety Act, and relevant British Standards. You are self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and have the ability to instigate change within a complex environment. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to clearly explain complex information to various stakeholders.
What the Job Involves
As a Fire Safety Manager, you will promote fire safety across the department, providing expert technical advice. You will lead on strategic policy and procedures and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Your responsibilities include managing Fire Safety Surveyors, delivering training sessions, and compiling technical reports for senior managers and court presentations. You will oversee the audit process for contractor compliance with current fire safety regulations and contribute to the strategic planning of fire safety services.
