What the Job Involves
This role involves providing technical oversight and quality assurance across various domestic gas servicing, repair, and heating replacement programmes within the Council. You will conduct audits and inspections to validate and monitor the quality of gas installation works across different projects, including capital projects, new builds, and regeneration schemes. Your responsibilities will also include offering technical advice regarding domestic gas boiler services, hot water and heating systems, undertaking surveys to produce feasibility studies, and developing business cases for asset investment. You'll serve as Contract Administrator for small project works under supervision and review O&M information to ensure maintenance programs are up-to-date.
