What the Job Involves
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the statutory review process of homeless decisions, accommodation offers, and housing register assessments, ensuring all are completed within the required time frames. You will liaise with legal departments to defend legal challenges, manage budgetary constraints, and provide leadership in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff. Additionally, you will be tasked with improving procedural guidelines, examining case reports, and reporting on departmental performance. You will also work closely with other teams and agencies to address client needs, legal challenges, and procedural improvements.
