What the Job Involves
This role is dedicated to providing high-quality support to adults with disabilities. You will participate in the care planning process, promote equality and dignity, and support customers in developing and maintaining relationships. Responsibilities include organizing and leading activities, adhering to safeguarding and organizational policies, and being available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be part of a team that ensures customers receive both physical and emotional support.
Skills
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Level 3 desirable)
- Manual handling and safe medication administration
- Food hygiene and infection control
- Understanding of safeguarding adults
- Experience with challenging behaviors
- Effective communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to plan and support activities
- Report writing and information recording
- Knowledge of Person-Centered Approaches
