Who You Are
You are a dedicated Social Worker passionate about providing high-quality social work to adults and/or carers. You hold a registration as a Social Worker with Social Work England and have relevant qualifications such as CQSW/DipSW. Your experience includes operating effectively within a social care environment and understanding the comprehensive assessment framework. You have demonstrated success in delivering a customer-focused service, supervising staff, and promoting equality and diversity in the workplace.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker for Adults and Communities, you will support adults with physical and sensory needs, learning disabilities, and older people to maintain their health, wellbeing, and independence. Your role includes conducting individual assessments, planning outcome-led care and support plans, safeguarding adults at risk, and fostering a culture of continuous professional development. You will manage your caseload, work collaboratively with local services, advocate for service users, and ensure that social care outcomes are achieved per the Department of Health’s Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework.

- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation (Care Act, Mental Capacity Act)
