What the Job Involves

In this role, you will conduct and support individual assessments, plan and manage care plans, and work collaboratively with various stakeholders. You will conduct risk assessments, manage caseloads, and promote direct payments. You will liaise with local services and act as a 'trusted assessor', identifying care technology needs. You will also provide supervision to other staff, engage in service improvements, and represent the service at external meetings. You are responsible for promoting and safeguarding welfare, complying with statutory requirements, and upholding Barnet's values.

Skills

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
• Experience in social care and working with vulnerable adults
• Strong understanding of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
• Sound written and verbal communication
