You are a committed professional with a degree in social work and are registered as an Approved Mental Health Professional. You possess a deep understanding and experience in applying legislative frameworks such as Mental Health Act 1983, Care Act 2014, and others. You have worked with vulnerable individuals and families, especially with mentally disordered offenders. Your strong organizational, case recording, and report-writing skills complement your ability to work effectively in multi-agency environments.

What the Job Involves

The role involves providing a high-performing social work service to adults in the community, focusing on mentally disordered offenders with complex needs. As a Forensic Social Worker and an Approved Mental Health Professional, you will apply mental health assessments and work in collaboration with multi-agency partners to develop support plans that maximize independence and comply with legal frameworks. The job requires participation in team planning, service improvement, financial management, and building positive working relationships with both internal and external partners.
