• A dedicated and professional social worker with a high degree of responsibility and understanding of mental health care.
• A licensed Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
• Capable of working collaboratively in multi-agency partnerships to meet the needs of mentally disordered offenders.

What the Job Involves

• Deliver high-performance social work service to adults with mental health needs in the community.
• Perform Mental Health Act Assessments as part of the AMHP rota.
• Collaborate with various agencies to assess individuals' needs and create support plans.
• Provide professional supervision and support to fellow Social Workers, maintaining a focus on reflective practice and continuous professional development.
• Fulfill statutory duties under relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act 1983, safeguarding legislation, and more.
• Manage caseloads and oversee the discharge of mentally disordered offenders from institutions.
• Ensure adherence to professional and organizational standards and protocols.
