Who You Are

A driven and professional Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) with expertise in mental health assessments and care planning. You possess a social work degree and are registered with the HCPC. With extensive experience applying legislative frameworks such as the Mental Health Act, you are comfortable working with vulnerable individuals and families, handling complex cases, and applying a personalized approach to care support.

What the Job Involves

As an AMHP, you will undertake Mental Health Act Assessments and work closely with individuals with complex care needs to maximize their independence and choice. You will provide leadership and expert advice to other social workers and engage in multidisciplinary collaborations. Your role includes coordinating assessments, developing support plans, managing resources efficiently, and participating in service improvement initiatives. You will foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive high standards of care delivery.
