What the Job Involves
This role involves leading and managing a team to deliver a comprehensive workforce development programme within the Council's People’s Centre of Excellence. You will work closely with Social Care leads and partners to develop, implement, and manage innovative workforce development programmes, including ASYE, Apprenticeship, and Student programmes. You will manage budgets, ensure high-quality training, monitor performance, and drive service improvements. Representing the council at external events and working with partner organisations to enhance workforce skills and abilities will also be key responsibilities. You will report to the Head of Practice Improvement and will manage up to four direct reports.
