What the Job Involves

As a Social Worker for Children's and Adult's Services in the London Borough of Sutton, you will act on behalf of the Local Authority, executing statutory functions to ensure individuals are safeguarded. Working in partnership with people, professionals, and agencies, you'll promote social change, maximize independence, and provide advice on third-sector and universal services. You will manage caseloads, ensure compliance with regulations, and produce professional documentation. Your role requires you to make decisions that reflect value for money and effective use of Local Authority resources while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policy, legislation, and contractual requirements.
