Social Worker - Youth Offending Team (Gr 8)

Who You Are

You are a qualified social worker with experience in a youth justice setting. You have a strong understanding of the needs and risks associated with offending behaviour in children and young people. Your previous work involves managing cases and working with out of court disposals and statutory court orders. You are comfortable with undertaking court work and providing court advice.

What the Job Involves

This role involves managing a caseload of children and young people, focusing on reducing their risk of future offending. You will perform assessments, write reports such as Court reports and Panel reports, and coordinate intervention plans. Part of your responsibilities will include attending court as part of a duty rota to provide court advice.
