Who You Are
You are an experienced professional with a strong trade background, ideally within social housing. You are adept at managing a high-performing team of repairs operatives. Your robust understanding across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and tiling, enables you to execute and oversee complex diagnostics and coordinate multi-trade repair projects. Your excellent communication skills support your ability to deliver tool box talks, conduct one-on-one meetings, and engage with tenants and the wider community effectively.
What the Job Involves
Your role as a Repairs Supervisor includes delivering high standards of work quality, ensuring efficient use of materials, and conducting pre and post inspections on tenanted properties. You will be responsible for managing the void team, ensuring timely turnover of properties. Additionally, you will attend evening Tenant Association meetings and respond to customer needs. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in all activities is critical. The role demands flexibility, including participation in an on-call rota and attending evening and weekend meetings when necessary.

- Extensive experience in social housing with a trade background
