Who You Are
You are an experienced Repairs Supervisor with extensive experience in social housing and a trade background. You demonstrate a high standard of work quality, possess the ability to efficiently coordinate multi-trade repair projects, and are skilled across various trades including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and tiling.
What the Job Involves
The job involves supervising a team of high-performing repairs operatives to deliver quality repairs and efficient use of materials. You will undertake complex diagnostics, coordinate multi-trade repairs for issues affecting multiple properties, and manage a void team to ensure timelines are met. Responsibilities include conducting toolbox talks, performing pre and post inspections on tenanted properties, attending evening meetings, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will be expected to maintain responsiveness to customer needs and participate in an on-call rota.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to converse in English and provide advice clearly
- Good understanding of building regulations and compliance
- Knowledge of the construction industry and site operations
- Experience leading and supporting trade operatives' performance
- Working knowledge of health & safety legislation and risk assessments
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including using technology
- Experience in quality control and post inspections in a repairs context
- Ability to participate in an on-call rota
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
